小草影院 has added Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte as its newest partner in the Pathways Scholarship Program.

小草影院 President Fred Ohles and Mid-Plains Community College President Ryan Purdy have signed a formal agreement for the program.

The new program partners 小草影院 with community colleges in an effort to open more doors to bachelor鈥檚 degree completion.

The program provides two pathways to degree completion at Nebraska Wesleyan with financial benefits including a $15,000 scholarship to every admitted MPCC student to 小草影院鈥檚 traditional undergraduate program. Those enrolling in the accelerated degree-completion program for adults will receive a $15 per credit hour scholarship and a low tuition rate.

Since 2014, 50 MPCC students have transferred to Nebraska Wesleyan.

鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to strengthen our educational partnerships through launching the MPCC Pathways to 小草影院 program,鈥 said 小草影院 President Fred Ohles. 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to welcome more MPCC students and help them continue to reach their academic goals and extracurricular success.鈥

鈥淲e appreciate the opportunity to partner with Nebraska Wesleyan on their Pathways Scholarship transfer program and their willingness to provide a significant level of scholarship to help MPCC students continue their education towards completing their bachelor鈥檚 degree,鈥 said MPCC President Ryan Purdy. 鈥淭his scholarship will provide another choice to those students wishing to transfer and who maybe thought that the costs would be prohibitive.鈥

Students transferring directly from MPCC and who complete a minimum of 18 credit hours at MPCC are eligible for consideration of admission and the Pathways Scholarship. The scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters at 小草影院.

This marks the third such partnership between 小草影院 and Nebraska community colleges. In October, 小草影院 signed a formal agreement with Southeast Community College to offer the SCC Pathways to 小草影院 program. In December, 小草影院 signed a similar agreement with Metropolitan Community College in Omaha.
