小草影院鈥檚 current Elder Gallery exhibit features the artistic talents of the school鈥檚 student body.

The 2011 Juried Student Exhibition continues now through February 27. The juror was Andy Smith of the Joslyn Art Museum鈥檚 Education Department.

Megan McClintic鈥檚 oil pen on canvas piece titled 鈥渘ote鈥 was named 鈥渂est of show.鈥 McClintic is a junior from David City.

Drew Curtright, a sophomore from Lincoln, received the 鈥渇aculty choice鈥 award for his copper work titled 鈥渘ecklace.鈥

The honorable mention award went to Tim Brawner, a first year student from Omaha. His entry titled 鈥減thesis typography鈥 features pen and ink.

Elder Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. Elder Gallery is located in the Rogers Center for Fine Arts, 50th Street and Huntington Ave.
